RCCL President Rich McQuirt (center) accepted a $4000 grant check from Whitetails Unlimited (local Chapter) https://www.whitetailsunlimited.com/ representative Joe Duty. Also pictured is Vice President Sara "Santa" Binegar. The funds will be used for veterans and youth activities. The League is very appreciative of this fine grant.
Consider joining the Whitetails Unlimited Organization and attending the Appalachian Mountain Hunters Banquet in February 2021 at the Ross County Fairgrounds Multipurpose Building. Table sponsorships are available and raffles will be offered. Proceeds from this event will benefit local youth events, and conservation and bow clubs.
Check "about" page for membership information.
Next Meeting - 14 October
Ham and Beans
If you are a former member and are interested in re-joining, the Board of Directors has made some important changes. In addition to the range being open all the time (with the usual restrictions,) the 5 hour service time a year has been waived. That means that there will no longer be a $100 dues cost for those who do not complete the service hours. Yearly dues will continue at $40 which are due by 31 July. Current members: do you know a former member who may have left due to prior restrictions? If so, contact them and invite them to re-join.
By the way, the upper pond is now catch-and-release throughout the rest of 2020. The lower pond was already catch-and-release
The Range is OPEN with the usual conditions.
In addition to signing in for use of the range, all members must sign in for ALL activities at the RCCL site at the screened in area next to the kitchen.
ALL guests should sign the waiver form.
Remember that the Range is CLOSED during any events or rentals.
